Tanahu Hyadropower (140MW)

At SinoHydro Corporation Limited’s 140 MW Tahahun Hydropower Project, I have been actively involved in the full electro‑mechanical lifecycle from factory to site since December 2022. I review OEM Inspection and Test Plans and testing procedures to confirm compliance with project specifications and seamless system integration. I prepare detailed technical installation plans for electro‑mechanical systems, helping standardize and streamline field execution. On site, I supervise the installation of key equipment, including 2×70 MW vertical Francis turbine‑generators, transformers, and GIS systems, ensuring precise alignment and reliable operation. I also lead inspections of electrical and mechanical embedding works to maintain adherence to approved designs and safety standards. In addition, I oversee testing and commissioning of critical lifting infrastructure such as a 2×150 kN gantry crane and a 250 T EOT crane with integrated control systems. My role includes coordinating design reviews and technical clarifications with all stakeholders, as well as performing testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electro‑mechanical systems to achieve safe, stable, and efficient plant performance.
