He served as Site Incharge / Plant Manager at Hewa Khola A Hydropower Project (14.9 MW), Panchthar Power Company Limited, from April 2019 to October 2020, where he managed overall powerhouse operations, billing activities, intake and powerhouse coordination, and effective staff mobilization. He planned and executed maintenance for 2×7.5 MW vertical Francis units, closely analyzing plant components to achieve smooth operation with minimal outage. His role also included regular inspection of all powerhouse machinery, switchyard equipment, and the 132 kV transmission line to maintain reliability and safety.
Previously, from February 2017 to April 2019, he worked as Shift Incharge / Site Electrical Engineer at the same project, handling testing, operation, and maintenance tasks for the plant’s electrical and mechanical systems. He monitored intake gates, motors, and associated machinery to ensure efficient water and power flow, while maintaining stable generation. In addition, he continuously supervised SCADA, PLC, and sensor performance, helping to ensure smooth, automated plant operation and quick response to any abnormalities.
